I just checked around and, out of the 39 people I've been watching, there are only 5 who are currently active on dA. This is sad. DeviantArt used to be so much fun years ago...so many friendships made and now lost. I wonder where everyone went...where they are now... :(
Back from Two Year Hiatus
So, I have to be gone for a long while, and when I get back, I discover that dA has added a very cool AI program to the features: DreamUp. I can't believe all the amazing art I can create using it! It isn't perfect (some created images are a bit "wonky"), but I'm having a lot of fun with it. :D
Interest Cycling
It seems to be the case with many people (like myself), who are on the Autism Spectrum, that creative interests come and go in cycles. Passions about certain artistic endeavors fire up and we are "all in!" At least until that fire starts to die down and we move on to the next one. (Usually, a fire we were once enthralled with before.) This up-coming new year, I'm cycling back around to one of my earlier creative interests: polymer clay. I've missed creating something tangible, and working with stone is too difficult for my hands. Polymer clay can also take a toll on my hands, but, unlike stone, I can soften it and make it easier to manage. So...here I go again...diving into the embers to, hopefully, flare up some new designs and characters. I'll be creating my own creatures, at least in the beginning, and not taking any commission work until I can get a good collection of my own pieces finished. A Song for Mama and Daddy (Announcement)
I've written a song for/about Mama and Daddy. Almost. Gotta figure out one line, and it will be done. I have the tune in my head and will record it when I'm finished. The working title is just "A Song for Mama and Daddy." It may change, or it may not. :) Oct. 7, 2021
